Estonian musicians


Kirill Ogorodnikov started his studies in Tallinn Georg Otsa Music School under the supervision of Tiit Peterson. He has performed at various festivals: Tallinn Guitar Festival, Fiesta de la guitarra, performing H. Villa-Lobos' guitar concert together with an orchestra during a series of concerts "Youth in Classics" (Noored Klassikas).

Kirill has taken part in international guitar competitions in Rome and Bologna. He got the II prize at the international guitar competition "Tallinn 2010" and the Classical Radio's special prize for performing the compulsory repertoire.

Currently Kirill is studying in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, in the guitar class of docent Heiki Mätlik. He engages actively in solo and chamber music and has participated in many international master classes.

JEKATERINA DANILOVA - accordion/bandoneón

During her studies Jekaterina Danilova has participated in national competitions (I prize in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008) and has performed at various accordion festivals. Between 2007 and 2010 she continued her studies in Tallinn Georg Otsa Music School under the supervision of Tiina Välja. In 2009 Jekaterina participated in the international competition "Ascoltate 2009" in Lithuania, winning the II prize.

Currently Jekaterina is studying in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the supervision of Tiina Välja and Sirje Mõttus. She has participated in the international project "Innovative Approaches in Integrating Music Education and Cultural Management" and in various master classes (Vjatšeslav Semjonov (Russia), Gerhard Scherer (Germany), Marko Valtonen (Finland), Mikko Luoma (Finland)). Additionally she has participated in in-service training in Feldkirchi Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium (Austria, supervisor Goran Kovacevic) and Sibelius-Akatemia (Finland, supervisor prof. Matti Rantanen).


Nele Suisalu finished Tallinn University choreography department in 2005. In 2007 she went through a special 7-month "ex.e.r.ce 07" training programme in contemporary choreography in Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier, France.

Nele has also studied semiotics during one year in Tartu University. In 2006 she obtained a Masters' degree in conference translation in the same university.

Nele has danced in Fine5 Dance Theatre's performances "Carmina Burana" and "Requiem". She has taken various workshops in Estonia, France and Germany. During the last years Nele has taken more and more interest in Argentine tango and contemporary circus. She has published articles about contemporary dance in the Estonian cultural newspaper "Sirp" and magazine "Teater.Muusika.Kino".

Currently Nele is living and working mainly in France (Cie étant-donné, Cie  Moleskine, Collectif MontÂgne). Since spring 2011 she has taken individual vocal training lessons together with Argentine tango music group lessons, supervised by Parisian Argentinians. During the performance at Tango Port Tallinn 2012 festival Nele will sing classical tangos such as “Desde el Alma”, “Volver”, “El adios” and others as well as  a song from Estonian tango classics - “Su silmist näen ma igal öösel und” - by composer Raimond Valgre.
